The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, December 5 reveals Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will team up with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to take down Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Also coming up, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will be upset with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for spilling the beans to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
Y&R spoilers tease Kyle and Diane will put the Jabot shutdown in motion. Kyle will tell his mom they need to focus on what they can do to thwart Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) AI threat. But Diane will spin out. “If your father loses the company, do you know what it’ll do to him?”
Kyle will tell her they have a plan and will do their best. “If things go sideways we will rebuild, as a family.” But he’s also going to do everything he can to make sure Victor won’t win. Diane will say she’s meeting Jack for a drink and he should join them. But he’ll say he has plans to meet Claire.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Diane Tells Jack It Could Cost Them Everything
At the GCAC restaurant, Nikki will ask Jack what Victor has done now. So, Jack will ask if she knows that Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) company has been sucked dry by the AI software and she’ll make a face. He’ll remind her she promised to keep Victor from coming after Jabot.
Nikki will ask if things are in place to protect the company. Jack will say he’ll tell her, as long as she can keep a massive secret. “Jabot is shutting down, we will cease to manufacture, market or sell anything,” he’ll add. “It is an extreme defensive move to handle a dangerous cyber attack.”
Nikki will tell him it’s a terrible plan. “I would be shocked if somebody tried to use that program against you,” she’ll say. Jack will ask if Victor has the program and Nikki will admit he does. “I hate that Victor has it, I would yank it away from him if I could.” And a lightbulb will go off in Jack’s head. “Well now there’s a thought,” he’ll say.
Nikki will promise she’ll do what she can, just as Diane shows up. Jack will thank Nikki as she gets up to leave. “Don’t thank me yet,” she’ll reply. Diane will ask what’s going on. Jack will say Nikki’s going to try to get her hands on the AI and he told her what they’re planning. Diane will flip out, saying this might cost them everything.
Meanwhile, Claire will walk into Society and run into Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) at the bar. He’ll ask if she wants to join him but she’ll say she’s meeting Kyle. Holden will tell her things seem different after everything in LA and he’ll ask if it’s about what he told her about he and Audra.
“It’s not about what you told me, it’s about what I think you didn’t tell me,” Claire will reply. Holden will remind her he took a risk spilling the beans and he’ll wonder if she’s looking for a reason to slow things down. “There’s more to what you did with Audra and I’m just waiting for you to finally tell me what it is,” she’ll say.

Then Audra will walk in and she’ll be furious. “It’s time for you to get a life and stop digging into mine,” she’ll tell Claire. She’ll add she’s the biggest criminal in the room. “You’re miserable and I’m not, and that eats away at you,” Claire will reply. “No life, no work, no romance.”
So, Audra will smack her across the face. Claire will try to go after her, but Holden will hold her back. “How will you reward him Claire, now that he’s your big, strong hero?” Audra will ask. Claire will lung for her, putting her hands around Audra’s neck, choking her.
“Is this what you want, for my claws to come out? Don’t touch me again!” Claire will shout, as Holden pulls her off Audra. “Don’t come after me again and I won’t have to retaliate, to shut you up for good!” Then Kyle will show up and ask Claire what’s wrong. “Get me outta here,” she’ll say and they’ll leave.
Holden will ask why Audra if she’s okay and she’ll say yes, although she’ll wonder if she has bruises on her neck. He’ll question why she didn’t just stay out of Claire’s way. “Claire is going down now Holden, so don’t try to stand in my way,” she’ll reply.
Finally, Claire and Kyle will end up at the GCAC and Diane and Jack will watch them walk in. Claire will tell him she made sure Audra knows not to mess with her. She’ll say she knows what happened with Audra in LA and she’s going to bury her with it. “I am in, one hundred per cent, if you even need a partner,” Kyle will reply. Claire will say she does, and they’ll toast to Audra’s downfall.
